Post Launch Consumer Appraisal: Pop Corners
The new shape of snacking
Is it popcorn?
Is it a crisp?
Is it a tortilla chip?
No – it’s a Pop Corner!
These new triangular shaped popped-corn snacks claim to be ‘the new shape of snacking’. They are never fried. Contain no gluten, dairy or nuts. Are suitable for those on a vegetarian, vegan or kosher diet. And have no artificial flavours, colours or preservatives.
What’s not to love?
We’ve been finding out.
We asked 10 UK Thinkers to recorded themselves buying Pop Corners online or in store, and then trying it for the first time. They shared their opinions on the ease of finding in store and online, the price compared to other snacks they would usually purchase, the packaging, the taste compared to their expectations, their future purchase intent, when they would be most likely to consume the product and what it would replace.
We analysed the raw footage using our new lean solution approach, which offers clients quicker, cheaper, but uncompromised insights.
